Surgery...what are your choices?

The recent push by the federal government has stimulated the community to review the private health insurance options. The Sunshine Coast Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery caters for all levels of patient cover:

• Those patients who choose to insure their health
• Uninsured patients
• Self insured patients i.e. patients who choose to pay for care should the need arise

Private insured/self insured patients have a choice of hospital. The Sunshine Coast Private Hospital & The Noosa Hospital. The staff will be able to offer you the appropriate advice concerning the availability and suitability of each institution.

Privately insured patients are encouraged to check their level of insurance prior to booking the procedure.

Those patients who have chosen not to health insure themselves have two options:

• To personally fund any surgical procedure
• To be placed on the Royal Brisbane Hospital /Noosa waiting list

The latter has the disadvantage of waiting and choice of surgeon is not available.
